BSE™ TOURNAMENTS

Tournament Rules

BSE™ Nightly Events

The BSE™ Nightly Events are FREE TO PLAY Texas Hold-Em tournaments in local restaurants and bars. Besides winning nightly prizes at these tournaments, registered players can advance to bigger cash & prizes. Top 16 players from each tournament are awarded BSE™ Points. These points determine qualifications for Quarterly-Venue Invitational FREE ROLLS for more cash & prizes. Ask your Tournament Director and participate in FREE TO PLAY invitational events, such as our Quarterly-Venue Invitational. This event pits players from different venues against each other.

BSE™ Quarterly Venue Championship

To qualify for the BSE™ Quarterly Venue Invitational, a player must be registered with BSE™, play the BSETM Nightly Events and earn BSE™ points. All registered first place winners earn an invitation instantly. Also, each venue will be allotted 1 invitation per BSE™ Nightly Event played, with a minimum of 50 invitations per Invitational Event. So if your neighborhood bar plays twice per week, most months there will be (8) invites or more available to that bar.
In this case, the top (8) point earners for the month will be invited from your bar.
A minimum of five top places will get cash or prizes.

BSE™ Annual Regional Championship

To qualify for the BSE™ Annual Regional Championships,
a player must be registered with BSE™, play the Nightly Events and earn BSE™ points.
Top 10 players from each of our Invitational Events throughout the year earn an invitation instantly.
The top 10% of the point earners from each venue for the year will also be invited.
A minimum of ten top places will get cash or prizes, with a

TOURNAMENT BLIND STRUCTURE

Most of our events operate with 15 minute blind levels. Our events are self dealt by the players; Players draw high card at the start to determine the button (dealer). Each blind level has a Small and a Big Blind (two positions left of dealer respectively) which are forced bets to ensure action on every hand (no Antes are used). With each level the amounts of the Small and Big Blinds rise, usually doubling. This escalation is what assures that events conclude in the 3 hours allotted for each event.

LATE ARRIVALS WILL BE HANDICAPPED FIVE (5) TIMES BIG BLIND
